Ronnie was born in New York and lived in Israel from 1983-1993. He returned to New York after completing a three-year Israeli military service in artillery and intelligence. Ronnie also worked for Shuki Weiss International Concert Productions (while living in Israel) where a few of his production credits included the Haifa Seaport Blues Festival, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, James Cotton, Sue Foley and Suede. Ronnie has walked more than 3,000 miles through more than 50 countries (on six continents) and 25 states (in the US). He took more than 15,000 photos during those trips and is now offering his favorite photos to the public for the first time.
Ronnie has been one of the highest ranking financial advisors (to hedge funds and mutual funds) in the country during the last ten years and in 2015 started offering his services to individuals. Ronnie appeared many times on Bloomberg, Fox and CNBC and has been interviewed by (or quoted in) The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, StreetInsider.com, Benzinga.com, Barron’s and many others. He gave more than 40 television, newspaper, radio and magazine interviews in recent years. Ronnie received a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business with Honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a Master’s degree in Finance and Investments from Baruch College (City University of New York).
Ronnie Moas is the founder of www.philanthropyandphilosophy.com and www.standpointresearch.com where he also serves as Director of Research. His third website www.moas-photo.com went live in November 2015. Ronnie has an articulate African Grey Parrot named KooKoo since 2001; owns a very large music collection of 1,500 cds; has been to more than 200 concerts; and is a strong and outspoken supporter of social causes. He moved to Miami Beach from New York in 2010.
